The action adventure hack ‘n’ slash game from publisher Nintendo and developer Platinum Games – Bayonetta 2 – sold 186,189 units first week at retail on the Nintendo Switch, according to our estimates. First week sales can be viewed on the VGChartz Global Weekly Chart for the week ending February 17, 2018.
Breaking down the sales by region, the game sold best in the US with 86,202 units sold (46%), compared to 56,624 units sold in Europe (30%) and 21,140 units sold in Japan (11%). Looking more closely at Europe, the game sold an estimated 9,689 units in the UK, 10,318 units in Germany, and 15,494 units in France.
